Our unique blend of Australian Red species from coastal NSW in rich captivating tones from light red brown and burnt red in narrow grained natural patterns highlighted with deep pink which darken overtime to give an elegant and warm backdrop to any interior or decking area. Australian Reds is durable and very hard with a Janka rating of 11.6.
From coastal NSW it is more consistent in colour distinguishing it from the tablelands species. Coastal Blackbutt is one of the more readily available commercial species. A magnificent honey brown colour with a fine grain pattern layered with mellow cream tones. It is ideal for flooring with a Janka hardness rating of 9.1.
A dense grained timber grown along the east coast of NSW with dynamic wide grain variations of coffee brown hues, with soft tone variations of red brown, cream and olive. Its neutral colour tones are well suited to contemporary interior design style. It is a very hard timber with a Janka rating of 11.
A fine grained timber also known as Flooded Gum which is grown around the coastal riverland areas of NSW. Rose Gum provides a classic warm colour composition of light red and pale pink which tends to darken with age to richer red brown tones. With a Janka rating of 7.5 it is suitable for domestic floors as well as most commercial applications.
A highly durable species from the coast and coastal ranges of NSW suited to both interior flooring and decking. With natural wide grain patterns in warm pastel tones of brown, yellow and olive brown it is well suited to living spaces that want to reflect a relaxed lifestyle. Durable (Durability Class 1) and hard with a Janka rating of 8.6.

Ironbark produces a stunning array of timber hues from pale brown to dark chocolate brown as well as dark red. The grain is usually interlocked, with a moderately coarse texture. Hardness (Janka) (kN) 14
American White Oak
Similar in colour and appearance to European oak. The sapwood of American white oak is light coloured and the heartwood is light to dark brown. White oak is mostly straight grained with a medium to coarse texture, with longer rays than red oak. White oak therefore has more figure. Hardness (Janka) (kN) 6
Heartwood is a rich dark brownish red, sometimes marked by short, dark brown radial flecks on the end grain and boat shaped flecks on flat sawn surfaces which enhance its decorative value. The grain is usually straight but often interlocked or wavy. The texture is even but moderately coarse. Also known as Western Australian Jarrah. Hardness (Janka) (kN) 8.5
Northern Box is an imported decking board which is very similar to Australian brush box. This floor board is also known as Pelawan and originates from Indonesia. Pelawan hardwood is very durable, resilient and strong.
It has a fine, interlocked grain and even texture and the colour of the wood, rangers from greyish pink through to reddish brown. With a beautiful grain, this hardwood is mostly suitable for decking or flooring. (Janka) (kN) 10
